Bayfield’s Chairman and CEO is Marc Duschenes, an award winning Entrepreneur and Economist with almost 20 years’ financial services experience who has held CEO and Director positions in Investment Banks, Fund Management and Property Management companies. He began his career in Investment Banking as a Retail Analyst at Barclays before becoming Director of Sales/Trading at Kleinwort Benson. In 2002 Marc formed Braemar Group, a specialist fund and property manager which he led onto AIM in 2005. Building Braemar from a standing start to over £650m assets and funds under management, he remained Braemar’s CEO until after the Group was subsequently sold to Brooks Macdonald plc in 2010.

Marc has also held board positions with four other AIM companies and plc’s, and has been Chairman of three Channel Islands listed OEICs. He is a regular economic columnist and commentator in the financial media specialising in Property, Tax efficient investments, Funds and Behavioral Economics. He is often a guest or keynote speaker at investment seminars and conferences.
