Enterprise is a force for good

Enterprise has a positive ripple effect on society’s capital structure so we encourage it where possible. From grass roots investment in local business, career engagement and partnering through education programmes and undertaking keynote speaking, we give creative or commercial support and advice on community projects. In particular we proud to have led the launch of a major new diversity and inclusion arts project Lights Up!.

EDUCATION

Education Programmes

The Bayfield Capital annual Stock Market challenge started in 2008/9 and has engaged with hundreds of budding traders – many of whom have since started careers in financial services. Drawing on his career as an Analyst and Trader, a short series of lectures delivered by Marc provide a whistle-stop tour of companies, investment and career roles in The City, after which student teams simulate a share trading exercise.

The best traders are given direct access to work placements or behind the scenes visits to financial institutions. The programme is an engaging and lively introduction to investment, behavioural economics and careers in finance, and is open to all schools and universities to apply to participate in.

Contact dealing@bayfield-capital.com to discuss hosting your own share trading competition.

Its addictive and competitive!

LIGHTS UP! Project

The “Lights Up!” project

An ambitious new project that our Charitable Trust has seed-funded. Lights Up! aims to provide more diverse access to fringe theatre by linking community groups with local theatre companies to promote audience diversity and fill empty seats.

Disability or financial hardship should not prevent people enjoying the benefits and escapism of live community theatre and we are proud to be behind this initiative.
