The Bayfield Capital annual Stock Market challenge started in 2008 and has engaged with hundreds of budding traders – many of whom have since gone on to start careers in financial services. Drawing on his career as an Analyst and Trader, a short series of lectures delivered by Marc provide a whistle-stop tour of investment and career roles in The City, after which student teams simulate a trading exercise.

The best traders are given direct access to work placements or behind the scenes visits to financial institutions. The programme is an engaging and lively introduction to investment, behavioural economics and careers in finance, and is open to all schools and universities to apply to participate in.
